Es un deber escuchar a Javier Malosetti
El sábado por la noche Javier Malosetti presentó su disco Niño en el Teatro Opera. Llenó y confieso que yo no esperaba semejante convocatoria. Algunas ideas.
.El término jazz-chabon anduvo rondando la noche. Creo que tiene que ver con lo obvio: Malosetti está bajando el jazz a las nuevas generaciones porque él no pertenece a las viejas generaciones.
.No debería asustar el término jazz-chabon. Entenderlo desde lo musical sería abaratar las músicas que toca Malosetti. Veámoslo desde el lado de un músico que consigue ser nexo de diferentes épocas de la música. Enoja a los tradicionales y fascina a los que vienen de otro palo. Rompe para unir.
.Malosetti es un bajista notable, con enorme talento y simplicidad para condensar años de jazz, blues, gospel y rock and roll transformados en un show de facil entendimiento.
.El jazz de Malosetti incluye a Los Beatles, Rolling Stones, UB 4o, próximamente The Who y todas las estaciones de Spinetta. Es por ahora el único que ocupa ese espacio,
.Sus músicas (asi le dice Malosetti a las canciones) son llanas, pero se nota que para tocar así hay que estudiar muchísimo y ensayar más.
.Escuchar a Malosetti y comprar su disco es un deber. Por suerte, a la salida, me contaron que había vendido bastante.

El show fue magnifico, potente, cómico y hasta emocionante por momentos.
Los que denominaron "Jazz Chabon" como algo malo, se deben haber llevado la sorpresa de que el sabado jovenes y no tanto asistieron al opera, y si, efectivamente se vendieron muchos discos, ya que en las disquerias (se las podria denominar)"comerciales" no tenian "Niño" en las bateas
Javier Malosetti es un notable bajista, nadie lo duda. Pero le ha picado el virus "luisalinesco" de tocar todo de todo, y ahí se pierde todo lo que tiene para dar. Ese paseo por toda la paleta (jazz, rock, aires folklóricos, etc) le quita pulpa al durazno. Y suena tanto a Víctor Wooten....

malosetti, en varios tramos de su música, suena demasiado a jaco pastorius y es lo único de él que me hace un poquito de ruido de escucharlo. me gustaría que no se pareciera tanto.
me gusta porque tiene rock y me jode cuando lo critica los tradicionalistas que -salvando las distancias- hacían lo mismo con piazzola.
lo importante es que no es del montón. es algo que hay que escuchar para luego ver si gusta o no, pero sí o sí hay que escucharlo.
A mi me encanta Malosetti (canta increíblemente bien), de todas maneras creo que como todo lo que gusta, no debería ser un deber...es una mosión un instinto unas ganas...justamente esa musica es buena porque no es un deber que impone nadie (los medios)...
No sé si lo habrá hecho en este show, pero también es admirable como toca la guitarra este muchacho.
Como toca la música este flaco me rompe la cocreta. Es increible como hace hablar al bajo y emocinarme a mí.
Siempre sucede con tipos que innovan en algo, se los defenestra o bien cuando se mueren son reconocidos, sino miralo a Piazzola.
